Joanna Boon was launched in 2010 after working with a number of independent jewellers and diamond brokers in London and Antwerp. Through her strong network Joanna is able to source stones that work with all budgets, from coloured diamonds to precious gemstones such as rubies and aquamarines. Joanna has also worked closely with a number of diamond mining companies and therefore has a deep understanding of the diamond supply chain from mine to market.
Buying jewellery, especially an engagement ring can be a daunting experience. By involving her clients in the process from start to finish, customers end up with a beautiful piece of jewellery that they have personally created adding a huge amount of sentimental value that simply can’t be experienced when buying off the shelf.
‘I love the process of working closely with clients, many of whom return after receiving a ring to commission wedding bands, eternity rings and birthstone pieces. Anything can be made, that's the beauty of a bespoke, handmade process. Every day is different, I may design a classic diamond engagement ring one day, the next I'm sourcing striking emeralds to bring a pair of statement earrings to life. If it can be imagined, it can be made.’
